About Us

Established in 1992 by Simon Hulme, Card Connection quickly grew to become the largest and most successful company in the UK supplying greeting cards on a consignment basis. Today, Card Connection is recognised as the market leader in the franchised distribution of greeting cards.

In March 2008, Card Connection became part of UK Greetings Ltd. UK Greetings (UKG) is the British subsidiary of American Greetings Inc AG, the world's largest publicly owned greeting card company. UKG is the largest direct to retail greeting card publisher in the UK. Card Connection is run as an independent division of UKG with its own unique product range exclusive to the franchisees.

Card Connection is a full member of the British Franchise Association, and operate through a network of over 100 franchisees providing full coverage throughout the UK and Ireland, with additional franchisees in Australia and Malta.

With a constantly updated range of vibrant, high quality product, including seasonal collections, we supply over 15,000 outlets throughout the UK and Ireland, from independents through to major groups such as Londis, Somerfield, Budgens and Total.

Card Connection provides unrivalled, award-winning service to the retailer, and has been described as ‘one of the best run franchises in the UK’.
